Day Trip: Naivasha Adventure Escape
Morning Departure & Drive to Naivasha: Start your adventure with a comfortable 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Nairobi to Naivasha, departing at 6:00 AM in a safari Land Cruiser, guided by a professional driver. Enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Kenya as you journey towards Lake Naivasha.
Boat Ride & Crescent Island Wildlife Walk: Arrive at Lake Naivasha around 8:00 AM and begin your day with a serene boat ride on the tranquil waters, offering opportunities to spot hippos and a variety of birds. You will then visit Crescent Island, where you will walk alongside wild animals such as giraffes, waterbucks, gazelles, and ostriches, getting up close to nature and capturing stunning photographs.
Lunch Break: At around 12:30 PM, break for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, refuelling for the adventure that awaits.
Explore Hells Gate National Park: After lunch, around 2:00 PM, head to Hells Gate National Park, renowned for its dramatic landscapes. Swap your vehicle for a bicycle and enjoy a cycling safari through the park, with your safari vehicle driving behind for support. Spot wildlife like zebras and warthogs as you cycle through the stunning scenery.
Gorge Hike & Full Exploration: Later, embark on a hike through Hells Gate’s famous gorges, marvelling at the natural rock formations and canyons. This thrilling hike allows you to explore the heart of the park and enjoy the raw beauty of Kenya’s wilderness.
